Mumbai: Famous Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla and superstar Shah Rukh Khan worked together in several blockbuster films in the nineties including Dhar, Yes Baas, Phibhi Dil Hai Hindustani, and now the actress has revealed how they had helped Shah Rukh’s son Aryan to get out of the drug case.
Talking about her friendship with King Khan in a recent interview, the actress said that she did not expect to be involved in this case but when the opportunity came to help her friend, she did not hold back.
Juhi Chawla said that she was present in the Mumbai Sessions Court and signed a surety bond of Rs 1 lakh, which meant that if Aryan did not pay the money, she would be responsible for him.
The actress said, “I feel that this is the right way and I must do it when my friend Khan needs it.”
Juhi Chawla also revealed that despite being good friends with Shah Rukh, they rarely meet each other and her husband Jay Mehta often meets Shah Rukh.
It may be noted that Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla are the joint owners of the IPL team Kolkata Ride which was formed in 2007.
