Karachi: Police recovered 2 girls who were called from Kenya to Karachi on the pretense of employment and arrested 5 accused.
SSP Anti-Violent Crime Cell Abdul Rahim Shirazi said that 4 months ago, a group called two girls in Kenya to Karachi under the pretense of employment, where the accused took the passports of the two women and took them to a house of Punjabi Soodgaran Society within the limits of Sachal police station. I was imprisoned and tortured.
According to the police, the two girls did not have any contact with their families, so the families of the abducted girls contacted their consulate and informed them about the whole situation.
According to SSP Anti-Violent Crime, the consulate immediately contacted the Anti-Violent Crime Cell. The SSP further said that as soon as the information was received, the police swung into action, the police raided the Punjabi Soodgaran Society and recovered the two girls and arrested 5 accused while the leader of the gang escaped from the spot.
He said that Raja and Ghulam Hasnain are among the arrested accused, while the SSP refrained from naming three more.
