Anthropological analysis has identified the skeletal remains as a man of African descent
Brasilia: Brazilian experts have created an exact replica of the face of an Egyptian man who lived 35,000 years ago using digital imaging.
Moiser Elias Santos (an archaeologist) and Cicero Morias (a 3D designer) used the skeletal remains of a man found at an archaeological site in Egypt to create a digital image.
This image shows a detailed estimate of the skull of Nazlet Khetar 2, a 35,000-year-old fossil discovered in 1980 in Egypt’s Nile Valley.
Anthropological analysis has identified the skeletal remains as a man of African descent who was between 17 and 29 years old at the time of death. Analysis suggests that he was about five feet three inches tall.
The team used a new facial reconstruction technique that helps archaeologists accurately highlight the facial features of skeletal remains.
