Lahore: Following the orders of the Lahore High Court, the district administration has issued a notification regarding the relaxation of business hours which will be applicable till Eid.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider issued a working hours notification till Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, which states that business activities in the provincial capital can be continued till 1 am.
According to the notification, bakers, sweets, groceries and other business activities will be allowed to open till 1 am while restaurants will be open from pre-iftar to dawn. Hospitals, medical stores, petrol pumps, CNG stations, puncture shops, milk shops and ovens will be affected by the ban.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore says that after the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, the previous working hours will be restricted. Violation of working hours will result in fines or business closure. Cases will be registered for repeated violations. People are requested to follow the rules, cooperate with the district administration.
