Islamabad: 40 more new cases of corona virus were reported in the last 24 hours across the country.
According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), during the last 24 hours, the rate of positive cases of corona reported across the country was recorded at 1.03 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 3 thousand 881 corona tests were conducted across the country, out of which the results of 40 people were recorded positive, while the condition of 18 patients infected with corona virus across the country is critical.
According to NIH, 376 corona tests were conducted in Lahore in the last 24 hours, out of which the results of 14 patients were positive and the rate was 3.72 percent. 269 corona tests were conducted in the federal capital Islamabad during 24 hours, out of which only 2 people tested positive and the rate was 0.74 percent.
Apart from this, 129 people were tested for corona in Gilgit during 24 hours, out of which 1 result was positive and the rate was recorded at 0.78 percent. In Gujranwala, 354 people were tested and there too one person tested positive for Corona and the rate was recorded at 0.28 percent.
According to the National Institute of Health, 2 patients infected with corona virus died in the last 24 hours. Both patients belonged to Karachi.
