The Taliban tightened restrictions on women

The Taliban has tightened restrictions on women, banning women and families from going to restaurants, gardens and parks.

According to foreign media, the Taliban has tightened restrictions on Afghan women. Women and families are now barred from restaurants, gardens and parks after women are barred from higher education and jobs.

The ban was imposed by the Taliban in Herat province. Where women are also banned from eating in hotels while men are exempt from this ban.

The Taliban administration in Herat says that the ban on women and families in the gardens and parks adjacent to the hotel has been imposed due to complaints from clerics.

According to the Taliban, scholars say that women are naked in restaurants, gardens and parks. Selling foreign movies, TV shows and music DVDs is also banned in Herat.

It should be noted that the Taliban is facing criticism from the international community for banning women from going to university and employment after assuming power in August 2021.
