New Delhi: An Air India flight was turned back mid-way after departure for London due to the unruly and unruly behavior of a passenger.
According to international media, Air India’s spokesperson said that Air India flight AI 111 departed from Delhi to London on April 10, 2023, shortly after which the flight landed back at New Delhi airport.
According to reports, the flight was diverted back to New Delhi airport due to the extremely rude and unruly behavior of a passenger on the plane who ignored verbal and written warnings.
An Air India spokesperson said the pilot-in-command decided to return to Delhi and the passenger was handed over to security personnel after landing. A case has also been registered against the passenger in the police.
“Safety, security and dignity of all people on board is important to us,” Air India added. We extend our deepest sympathies to the affected crew members and regret the inconvenience caused to passengers.
