Islamabad High Court rejected the petition of Ali Amin Gandapur

The Islamabad High Court declared PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur’s post-arrest corridor bail inadmissible.

The Islamabad High Court has said in a decision related to three cases that it is recognized that Ali Amin Gandapur’s beggar has been arrested by the police, therefore the post-arrest corridor bail is not admissible and the objections of the Registrar’s Office remain.

Ali Amin Gandapur filed a bail application in the Islamabad High Court, in which it was held that the Dera Ismail Khan police arrested Ali Amin Gandapur and handed him over to the Islamabad police in a case registered in Golra police station. Later, the arrest was made public in the case registered in Bhakkar. Filing of second FIR on the same charge shows malice on the part of the police.

It was argued in the petition that two FIRs cannot be registered on the same incident. In order to refer to the relevant forum, the court should approve the post-arrest transit bail and the District and Sessions Judge Islamabad should be restrained from the transit transfer of Ali Amin Gandapur until the decision is taken on the application.
