Islamabad: The National Constitution Convention passed a resolution regarding inclusion of the Constitution, democratic values and traditions in the educational curriculum and textbooks.
The resolution was presented by Federal Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb. After 50 years after the approved resolution, the constitution, democratic values and traditions will be included in the educational curriculum and textbooks and taught in schools and colleges.
In this regard, Maryam Aurangzeb said that the real history was hidden from the nation, which was the trust of the nation, it is being corrected and returned to the people, the seeds of the constitution are being planted in the intelligent and fertile minds of the youth.
He said that the journey started in 2014 with the Study Parliament Program is being completed, the Constitution, decentralization of powers among the three state institutions and democratic values should be part of the curriculum of primary, secondary and higher levels of education. will
Maryam Aurangzeb said that today is a historic day, all this is happening 50 years after the constitution of 1973. On this historic day, the nation congratulates especially women and youth. Congratulations too.
