A petition was filed against the notification to outsource board exams in Sindh

Karachi: A petition was filed in the High Court seeking cancellation of the notification to outsource board examinations in Sindh.

Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) and All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association have filed a petition in the High Court to stay the notifications of Universities and Boards Sindh, which will be heard on Wednesday, April 12.

The petition has challenged the notification of the controlling authority’s self-imposed powers to outsource the exams and the illegal and unworkable notifications of all the boards including lakhs of students of Sindh, their parents and teachers just a few weeks ago. They are suffering from mental confusion, hesitation and uncertainty.

Earlier, Supla and All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association identified all the issues in a meeting with Minister Universities and Boards Sindh Muhammad Ismail Raho. The Chief Minister Sindh, Education Minister Sindh, Secretary Universities and Boards, Secretary Schools Education, Secretary Colleges Education also informed about the concerns and reservations in writing.
