Tel Aviv: In response to rocket fire on the Golan Heights, the Israeli military bombed a military complex and radar in Syria.
According to the World News Agency, 3 rockets were fired from the territory of Syria on the “Golan Mountains” under the control of Israel, one of which was destroyed in the air, while two fell in the plain area.
So far, no extremist organization in Syria has accepted the responsibility for firing rockets into the occupied territory of Israel, but this attack is being called as a response to the tension in Palestine.
No casualties were reported in these rocket attacks, but Israel strongly condemned the attack as an attack on its security and indicated an immediate response.
A few hours after this statement, in response to the rocket attack, Israel has claimed to have destroyed a military compound in Syria by bombing a radar system and artillery used by Syrian forces.
The Israeli attack did not cause any loss of life to the Syrian army, but the military facilities were severely damaged. The Syrian government has strongly condemned the Israeli aggression.
It should be noted that the Golan Heights is actually a part of Syria, but Israel occupied it in 1967, but this area has not been recognized as Israel’s territory at the international level.
