The High Court has extended the injunction to stop the implementation of Lahore’s Master Plan 2050.
The Lahore High Court has remarked that the caretaker government has no intention of leaving.
Justice Shahid Karim heard the petition filed against approval of Master Plan 2050 of Lahore.
The court allowed the LDA to work under the Master Plan 2016 and the High Court extended the injunction to stop the implementation of the Lahore Master Plan 2050.
The counsel for LDA argued that LDA has no objection to the revision of the master plan by international experts, as per the rules the approval of international experts is bound to be given by the governing body of LDA, member of the governing body. Punjab Assembly joins.
Justice Shahid Karim asked the government lawyer that it seems that the caretaker government has no intention of going, when is the caretaker government going?
The lawyer replied that this is not knowledge.
The court ordered the services of international experts.
