Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has announced to file a reference of disqualification against those who brought the resolution on the decision of the Supreme Court regarding the election in Punjab.
In a meeting with PTI President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at Zaman Park in Lahore, Imran Khan consulted about the distribution of party tickets in Punjab and directed to finalize the candidates within a week.
Imran Khan said that “the people’s sea has shown the stars to the imported rulers, the incompetent government will cry and cry as much as it wants, the election will continue anyway”.
He said that they are filing a reference of disqualification against those who brought the resolution on the Supreme Court decision, the people are ready to come out on the streets to protect the judiciary and uphold the constitution, I will start the election rallies after Eid.
On this occasion, PTI President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that unconstitutional resolutions cannot stop the implementation of the Supreme Court’s order, the Election Commission has shown its wisdom by starting the implementation of the court order. That he should give up his obstinate attitude’.
He said that ‘after the election, the journey of development and happiness will begin again in Punjab’. Pervez Elahi said that Nawaz Sharif has followed the footsteps of founder MQM while sitting in London.
The PTI president further said that ‘the stupid decisions of Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sana and Azam Nazir Tarar have led the government to a dead end and now there is no way out for it’.
