Nigerian music producer Florence Otedola has donated 100,000 pounds to African students studying at Oxford University in the UK.
Florence, better known as DJ Kapi, recently completed a Masters in African Studies from the University of Oxford.
The university said in a statement that the ‘copy fund’ will provide funds to postgraduate students for unexpected and urgent financial needs.
30-year-old DJ Kapi of international fame said that he has seen many ups and downs in the university.
He said that the main purpose of establishing the fund is to create means for those students who need them the most to continue their education.
It should be noted that DJ Kapi is the daughter of the richest oil businessman in Nigeria.
She has also made huge donations to child rights, girl child education and disabled organizations.
