National cricket team all-rounder Imad Wasim took the selectors by surprise for not being included in Pakistan’s squad for the series against New Zealand.
In an interview given to a local TV channel, all-rounder Imad Wasim, who was overlooked for the series against New Zealand, said that he will not sit quietly if he is dropped from the national team by the selectors without any reason.
He said that I was kept out of the national team for more than a year, no reason was given even when I asked, but I will not allow it to happen again.

Imad Wasim said that I am at this stage of my career that if the board does not include me in the playing XI without any reason, then I will fight my own battle. “I never suffered any financial loss while away from the team, in fact I earned 10 times what I would have earned while playing for Pakistan,” he said.

The all-rounder said, “I am confident in my abilities, if I were the bowler that is said to be out of favor on the conditions and the T20 leagues in Australia and South Africa had not signed me.”
Imad returned to the national team in the recently concluded series against Afghanistan after a brilliant all-round performance in the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League.
