The JIT of 10 cases registered against PTI leaders summoned Imran Khan for the third time

Lahore: The JIT formed to investigate 10 cases registered against PTI leaders summoned Imran Khan and other leaders for the third time.

According to Express News, the JIT summoned Chairman Imran Khan and other leaders yesterday for the third time in connection with the investigation of PTI cases.

Yesterday Imran Khan’s lawyers appeared before the JIT and said that Imran Khan’s life is in danger, so our statement should be recorded, Imran Khan cannot appear before the JIT due to security threat.

According to sources, JIT did not record Imran Khan’s statement. JIT asked Imran Khan to appear himself and record his statement. Similarly, other PTI leaders also did not appear before the JIT.

Other leaders have also been summoned by the JIT for the third time tomorrow at 1 o’clock. They include Fawad Chaudhry, Hamad Azhar, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Farrukh Habib, Mian Mahmood Al Rashid, Ejaz Chaudhry, Musrat Jamished Cheema, Dr. Yasmin Rashid and others.

Sources say that if they do not appear tomorrow, the JIT will request the court to release bail on the next appearance of the leaders.

It should be noted that the JIT is investigating 10 cases of stone pelting, violence and vandalism. So far, only Asad Umar has recorded his statement to the JIT. Apart from Asad Umar, no other leader appeared before the JIT. Cases are registered in Race Course, Civil Lines and Shadman police stations.
