Nikhil Advani, the director of Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan’s popular film ‘Kul Ho Nah Ho’, has revealed that King Khan wanted Salman Khan to be cast in the lead role in the said film.
According to Indian media reports, Nikhil Advani, the director of the film ‘Kul Ho Na Ho’, has revealed in Samar Khan’s book ‘SRK 25 Years of Life’ that the shooting of the film ‘Kul Ho Na Ho’, which was released in 2000, is now over. It had just started that after 4 or 5 days, Shah Rukh Khan left for Germany.
The director said that Shah Rukh contacted him on phone and said that he is unable to continue shooting the film due to back pain and will have to leave the film. Later, he informed Karan Johar, who was also the co-producer and writer of the film, about this and suggested casting Salman Khan.
However, Karan Johar rejected Shah Rukh Khan’s proposal, as the film’s script was written with King Khan in mind. Karan Johar assured him that he would tolerate a delay of 9 months in the shooting of the film.
You will be surprised to know here that although Salman Khan could not replace Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role of the film, he did a cameo in the film, but his scene was later removed from the film.
