The US Central Command (CENTCOM) conducted an airstrike in Syria, killing ISIS commander Khaled Ahmed al-Jubouri.
CENTCOM said in its statement that the slain commander was planning attacks in Europe.
Khalid Ahmed was also tasked with reorganizing the ranks of ISIS commanders.
The death of Khalid Ahmed al-Jubouri will temporarily affect ISIS’s ability to attack abroad, said Centcom commander General Korella.
He said that no civilian was killed or injured in the air strike.
