Emirates condemns Israeli police attack in Al-Aqsa Mosque compound


The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the attack by the Israeli police on worshipers in the compound of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and has demanded from Israel not to increase the tension.

In a statement issued by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it has been said that the attack by the Israeli police on the worshipers in the premises of the Al-Aqsa Mosque is strongly condemned.

The statement added that the Israeli authorities should refrain from increasing tension and instability in the region and end the tension.

On the other hand, the Arab League called an emergency meeting after Israeli forces attacked worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to the news agency, Jordan, Egypt and Palestine have demanded to convene an emergency meeting of the Arab League.

According to Khabara Agency, 12 Palestinians have been injured in the Israeli attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The news agency says that the Israeli police detained more than 350 Palestinians.
