The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a sharp decline today where the 100 index fell below the 40,000 mark.
The PSX benchmark 100 index closed down 579 points at 39,871 by the end of trading.
14 crore shares were traded in the stock market today, the value of which was 5 billion 45 crore rupees.
Similarly, the market capitalization has decreased by 58 billion to 6 thousand 293 billion rupees.
