Refusal of gas marketing companies to accept government rates

LPG Association President Irfan Khokhar has said that gas marketing companies and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plant owners have refused to accept the government rates.

Irfan Khokhar said in his statement that there has been an artificial shortage of LPG across the country.

He said that the oil and gas regulatory authority (Ogra) could not implement the reduction in the price of gas by 50 rupees per kg.

He also said that the people are hanging and the government is a silent spectator.
