Britain’s Prince William has given former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern an important royal role.
The official Instagram account of The Earth Shoot Prize shared a message with a photo of Jacinda Ardern.
The message reads, “We are delighted to welcome Jacinda Ardern to The Earthshot Prize Board of Trustees.”
Jacinda Ardern’s message on the photo shared in the post reads: “Since the EarthShot Prize was established, I have believed in its power to not only encourage the spread of innovation, We desperately need it, but it will also be a new hope.
The Prince of Wales shared the above post on his Instagram story and wrote in the caption, “It’s an honor to welcome Jacinda Ardern to the Earthshot Prize team.”
“His experience as Prime Minister of New Zealand, as well as his lifelong commitment to supporting sustainable and environmental solutions, will bring a spirit of fresh thinking to our mission,” he wrote.
