Islamabad: Senator Mushtaq presented the amendment bill for the maintenance and management of Tosha Khana in the Senate.
When the bills were presented during the Senate session, the Chairman Senate said that another bill related to Tosha Khana is pending in the committee. Why not send this amendment bill to the Standing Committee? Later, the Senate entrusted the Tosha Khana maintenance, management and maintenance amendment bill to the Standing Committee.
Also, during the meeting, Senator Mushtaq Ahmed presented a motion in the House regarding declaring Urdu as the national language. He said that Babar Azam is a brand in the world of cricket. Shoaib Akhtar says Babar Azam couldn’t speak English, that’s why he couldn’t become a star. According to the constitution of Pakistan, Urdu has been given the status of official language.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmed said that the Supreme Court decided to declare Urdu as the official language. Urdu should be declared as the official language. Urdu language should be used in all offices. The judiciary itself should issue its decisions in Urdu.
Meanwhile, Senator Mehr Taj Roghani presented the Children’s Rights Amendment Bill 2023 in the Senate, which the Senate handed over to the committee. Apart from this, the Senate also referred the Export Processing Zones Authority Bill to the committee. Senator Mohsin Aziz presented an amendment bill to prevent drug-based materials in the Senate, which was approved by the House.
Apart from this, the Pakistan Institute for Research and Registration Quality Assurance Bill 2023 was also approved by the Senate.
