Karachi: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeemur Rahman announced the resumption of the “Haq Du Karachi Ko” movement.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman while giving a press conference at Noor Haq Institution said that a rich class is imposing on us. This class has pressed us under the burden of inflation. When there is no direction, people are not taken care of, this is what happens to the people. He said that Videre and Judiciary are also behind all of them. Now people have to show their unity.

At this time our country is going through many crises. The rulers should get wise or lose their lives. A ruling class has been in control of the country for 76 years. They kept us in ignorance and trapped us in inflation. These rulers trapped us in the clutches of the IMF and held the people hostage. This includes the judiciary, the army, the landlords.
Amir Jamaat said that the people have to decide now. The people should unite and fight against the occupying forces. He said that relief is being given to people all over the world, while things are getting expensive here. There are a large number of white-clad people in the country who cannot stand in line anywhere, who cares about them? The commissioners are not doing any work, they are only tools of the government.
He said that the heat has not increased that additional electricity charges have started coming. This time, 4 new taxes have been imposed in the bill that will come. The bill, which should have been 5 thousand, has reached 20 thousand. The gas crisis has become severe in Ramadan. People are not getting gas during Suhr and Iftar. There are rich reserves of gas in the country and this ruling class is not looking for new reserves. On whose request is gas not being extracted?
Hafiz Naeem said that be it politicians, judiciary, generals or bureaucrats, the children of all of them study abroad. Street crime is rampant in the city. Who are the looters? When a crime is investigated, the policeman comes out from the front. Does IG Sindh not know who is doing the crime? We should not be told one sided things. It seems that there is no such thing as government.
He said that they have been saying that the mayor will make Karachi Jiyala. You have left this city helpless. The people of Karachi are requested to unite against those who make us fight.
Hafiz Naeem announced that we are re-launching our “Haq du Karachi Ko” movement. From tomorrow we will go street to street and tell people what is happening to them in the census. We will hold a grand rally on April 9. People are requested to participate in this rally.
Amir Jamaat said that MQM has a strange problem. Just a few days ago they were saying that the census was done correctly, now they are saying that there are problems in it again. If this census is done correctly, then these landlords will get rid of them. There is a lot of work to be done here. One and a half crore people of Karachi will not be counted, then our resources will be less.
He said that I ask the people of Karachi to be careful with such people. From those who have always sold your mandate. We are going to set up a campus for the movement. There is still time for the Election Commission to correct its Qibla. Jamaat-e-Islami has been given a lot of votes by the people of Karachi, so the mayor of Karachi will be from Jamaat-e-Islami and it is better if you accept it now, otherwise you will have to accept it in disgrace.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that campuses will be set up at hundreds of places in the city from tomorrow. We have not kept any budget in Ramadan. The Sindh government kept a big budget of 15, 20 billion which is beyond understanding. Government’s job is to make things affordable. It is not the government’s job to set up a savings market. If Jamaat-e-Islami works without profit and loss, can’t the government?
