Lahore: CIA police arrested 3 persons including 2 women involved in the murder of former SP Chaudhry Farhat Abbas.
According to the police, the sister-in-law of the deceased Chaudhry Farhat Abbas got Jeth killed by her second husband. The deceased wanted to marry his brother Kaleem Anwar alias Kami’s wife, but Kaleem Anwar alias Kami’s wife refused the marriage and married security guard Arif Afridi.
The accused killed her brother-in-law Chaudhry Farhat Abbas through her second husband Arif Afridi and the accused killed Arif and fled the area.
CIA police teams took the accused into custody and interrogated her, then she confessed to the crime. Special teams of CIA Iqbal Town Police arrested the accused Arif from outside the area with the help of mobile phone locations.
SSPCIA Liaquat Ali Malik said that the deceased had forbidden the widow’s sister-in-law to have a personal security guard, the accused was staying in a hotel near the deceased’s house for 02 weeks. The accused changed his haliya before the murder and also changed his haliya after the murder.
