Indian singer Alka Yagni has surpassed today’s most popular singers and bands on YouTube.
Social platform YouTube has released the list of most streamed artists of the year 2022, according to which Alka Yagni has become the most streamed YouTube artist.
According to foreign media reports, Guinness World Records says that Alka Yagni has received 42 million daily streams and a total of 15.3 billion YouTube streams last year.
While in the list released by YouTube, Alka Yagni is followed by American singer Bad Bunny aka Puerto Rico who received a total of 14.7 billion streams last year.
It should be noted that Alka Yagni has been ruling YouTube for the past three years. In 2020 they got 16.6 billion streams while in 2021 they got 17.7 billion streams.
Popular Korean music bands Blackpink and BTS could not compete with the singer in the charts. BTS received 7.95 billion and Blackpink 7.03 billion streams.
