Islamabad: Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi challenged the summons on behalf of NAB in the court, after which the Islamabad High Court fixed the petition for hearing.
According to Express News, there has been significant progress in the investigation of the Toshah Khana case, former first lady Bushra Imran has challenged the summoning notice in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the Islamabad High Court.
Islamabad High Court fixed the application for hearing. A two-member bench of the Islamabad High Court will hear both the petitions on Monday. The bench includes Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Taman Rifat Imtiaz Bench.
Bushra Bibi has requested the court to declare the notices of February 17 and February 16 as illegal. The court has been requested to stop the NAB inquiry from being converted into an investigation till the decision on the petition is taken.
In the petition filed in the Islamabad High Court, Bushra Bibi requested that the NAB be ordered to stop disciplinary action against me until the decision is taken on the petition. NAB has also been made a party in the petition filed by Bushra Bibi.
