Lahore: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested 9 terrorists in different areas of Punjab.
According to officials, CTD conducted operations in various districts of Punjab, as a result of which 9 terrorists Nazir, Fahad, Arshad, Usman, Sher Muhammad, Tahir, Wazir and Abdul Rasheed were arrested.
These terrorists belonging to banned organizations were arrested from Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Sargodha. The authorities say that explosive materials, weapons and materials for making suicide vests were also recovered from the arrested terrorists. Terrorist networks wanted to attack in sensitive districts.
According to officials, 340 combing and search operations were conducted in different areas of Punjab this week. During the combing and search operation, 41 suspects were arrested.
