Shopkeepers did not contact to register incident, police, photos; File
Karachi: Street criminals in the Federal B area robbed shopkeepers sitting at tables to break their fast, CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced.
According to the details, the street criminals in Shahr-Quaid have made it impossible for the citizens to live, and now they have also started robbing the fasting people waiting for Iftar.
A robbery took place in a culinary shop located in Federal B Area Block 14 of Joharabad Police Station when the shopkeepers were at the table to break their fast.
The shopkeepers were waiting for Maghrib Azan when 2 accused on a motorcycle entered the shop, one of them wiped the cash counter first. Meanwhile, the Azan was given and 9 people in the shop were sitting and eating Iftar in a state of fear.
The armed suspect was contentedly taking out cash from everyone’s pockets. After the incident, the accused escaped easily. In the CCTV footage, one of the accused can be seen wearing a mask on his face.
When contacted in this regard, SHO Joharabad Raja Afzal said that the incident took place on March 28, but a case has not been registered so far. He said that as soon as the affected shopkeepers contact the police, a case will be registered and investigation will be started.
