Peshawar: The prices of flour in the capital city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have increased once again, adding to the worries of the citizens.
In the city, the price of superfine 20 kg flour is Rs 3300, while the price of mix flour has reached Rs 3200. The rise in flour prices by up to Rs 500 during Ramadan has added to the worries of the citizens.
The price of one kilo of flour in Peshawar has reached Rs.160. The price of 20 kg of flour was Rs 2700 till a day before Ramadan. The citizens say that as soon as the month of fasting begins, the district administration is absent and has slept for a long time, while the mental agony of the citizens is increasing.
