World famous Indian actress Priyanka Chopra has revealed in her recent interview that her complexion has been shown as fair in many Bollywood movies.
According to foreign media reports, actress Priyanka Chopra recently gave an interview to a podcast in which she spoke openly about various issues including the reason for leaving Bollywood.
He spoke about his early days in Bollywood and how he was harassed because of his fair complexion which affected his performances.
Priyanka Chopra said that she used to be offered advertisements for beauty creams, which would show that she had tanned skin due to the sun and that a bleaching cream would lighten her complexion.
He also talked about the negative effects of such advertisements on the minds of young girls.
He said that these kinds of advertisements make our young girls feel inferior, they are made to feel that they are not white and therefore cannot do anything in life, only go forward in life with white complexion. Can be extended.
Priyanka Chopra mentioned the difficulties she faced in the beginning of her career due to her dark complexion and said that heroines who are fair skinned used to get roles easily, they used to get offers for specific roles because of their dark complexion. Referring to her 2004 film ‘Kisamat’, she said that there is a song in it ‘Chatti Doodh Kudi’ which means white like milk and she is not like that, so she wore make-up while recording the song. And with the help of lights, they were shown to be white.
