The father of a Russian girl was sentenced to 2 years in prison for creating an anti-war painting.
A Russian man’s 12-year-old daughter created an anti-war painting at her school that she shared on social media, international media reported.
The man, Alexey Moskalyov, shared the painting of his daughter on social media and wrote in the caption, “Russia’s brutal army, all around us.”
The report said that in April last year, the Russian man’s 12-year-old daughter Masha drew a picture of Russian missiles being fired at a family in Ukraine for her art class and captioned it, ‘No to war’ and ‘ Glory to Ukraine’, on which the school administration called the police.
Later, Alexei Moskaliev was charged with defaming the Russian military and was arrested and sentenced to 2 years in prison for sharing anti-war posts on social media.
