Karachi: The effects of westerly winds started to disappear on the city, due to which the temperature in the city of Quaid is gradually decreasing, however, the temperature is likely to decrease in the morning and night time till February 1.
According to the Meteorological Department, the overall temperature increased by one degree on Sunday, slightly cold weather in the morning and night hours may persist till February 1, while no new system is expected for the next 10 days.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in the city remained cold and dry on Sunday, but the intensity of the cold has reduced compared to the previous days.
During the last twenty-four hours, the minimum mercury was recorded at 10.5 degrees Celsius, an increase of one degree compared to the previous day, while the maximum temperature was also recorded at 26.5 degrees Celsius, an increase of one degree.
According to Chief Meteorologist Karachi Sardar Sarfraz, the slightly cold weather may persist till February 1, after which the temperature will increase further, then only the night and morning may feel chilly. According to the Chief Meteorologist, there is no possibility of any new system from the West for the next 10 days.
