Washington: America has termed former US ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad’s statements about Imran Khan as personal opinion.
US State Department spokesperson Vedant Patel has said that former US ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad’s Twitter messages about Imran Khan and his party are his personal opinion.

He said that Zalmay Khalilzad’s statements do not represent the American administration, he is an ordinary citizen, his statements are of a personal nature, Zalmay Khalilzad’s statements are not related to American foreign policy.

Vedant Patel said during the press briefing that there is no room for violence, harassment or intimidation in politics, he encourages the rule of law by all parties in Pakistan. The right to choose should be given.
It should be noted that a few days ago former US Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad had expressed his views regarding the arrest of Imran Khan and the ban on Tehreek-e-Insaaf in his Twitter messages.
