I congratulate the Arts Council management for organizing a successful youth festival, Sardar Shah


The ongoing seven-day Pakistan Youth Festival at the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi concluded with a bang. At the closing ceremony of the Pakistan Youth Festival, Minister of Culture and Education Sardar Ali Shah was the chief guest who was welcomed by the President of the Arts Council Muhammad Ahmad Shah and members of the governing body.

The closing ceremony of the festival was inaugurated with a spectacular musical performance by the renowned Jambros Band, the winners of ten different categories of Pakistan Youth Festival and two special competitions were given cash prizes and awards were distributed.

Special awards were given to special children who participated in the Special Children Festival organized for special children. Addressing the closing ceremony of the Pakistan Youth Festival, Minister of Culture and Education Sindh Sardar Ali Shah said that 64% of Pakistan’s population consists of youth, we have not made any policy keeping this population in mind.

He said that our youths are performing in the youth festival organized by Muhammad Ahmad Shah, it is his encouragement, youths will have to be prepared to counter intolerance and extremism in this country.

He said that we have to get out of this complex that only doctors, engineers and officers can be successful but also Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam and Hadiqa Kayani.

The Provincial Minister of Culture said that our children are not asked what they want to become in the future.

Sardar Shah said that the culture of our Indus Valley has got traces of dance. In this context, the education department has decided to appoint 750 music teachers. The council has built a bastion of culture.

He said that in the entire country, I do not see any such institution which is working in this way for the promotion of arts and culture.

He said that we have to change the original form of the country, I congratulate all the youth, participate in extracurricular activities along with their curricular activities.

Syed Sardar Shah said that a large number of middle class children are seen in the festival, I call Ahmed Shah as Guru Guntal who is a democratic dictator, Ahmed Shah should guide us to conduct such competitions in government schools and colleges.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmed Shah said that all the children involved in the Special Children’s Special Festival performed brilliantly, these children have more talent than us, they sing wonderful songs, they are the best painters. Nighat Chaudhry and Wahab Shah encouraged the children in the dance finale.

He said that the youth festival was started 16 years ago, our entire team worked hard, you all kept the arts council vibrant for the whole week, the people of the arts council are happy with this energy, we have a lack of employment. IT training will be started very soon for those who cannot afford it.

Muhammad Ahmad Shah said that you have courage, the world cannot stop you, you have to trust yourself after God, the world is yours, think that you have to do something, our youth are not hypocrites.

President Arts Council Karachi said that they are grateful to the schools, colleges and University of Karachi, this festival would not have been possible without the support of all of you. We will conduct competitions based on different dimensions of arts in different colleges, we have trained hundreds of trainers, first is your education, if you change your future, then the future of home, street, neighborhood, city and country will change.

In the concert on the last day of the Pakistan Youth Festival, Ali Azmat, Sahir Ali Baga, Ahmed Jahanzeb, Natasha Baig, Wahab Bugti, Ahsan Bari, Arman Rahim and Afaq Adnan created the magic of their voices and gave the festival four moons and received a standing ovation from the audience. received
