Karachi: The 4th Commissioner Karachi City Marathon was concluded in Shahr Quaid in which a Japanese athlete won the over 50 event while Mohammad Akhtar of Marathon Pakistan WAPDA won.
According to Express News, Muhammad Akhtar of Pakistan WAPDA won the fourth Commissioner Karachi City Marathon, on Sunday morning the marathon started from Nishan Pakistan, Seaview Clifton became international, the Japanese athlete won the over 50 event while Nimra Iqbal became the women’s champion and also bagged the best athlete award.

Full security arrangements were made on this occasion, in the men’s 12 km race, Muhammad Akhtar of WAPDA won the gold medal with the first position and received a prize of Rs 50,000 while Ali Hassan of Pakistan Navy won the second position. was successful and received a prize of Rs.30,000 along with a silver medal, similarly Muhammad Sajjad, who came third, bagged a bronze medal and won a cash prize of Rs.20,000.

According to correspondent Express News, Mohammad Yasir Gul first, Ali Hassan second and Mohammad Sajjad swam in the over 30 event, while the over 50 title was won by Kayo Yamane Char of Japan.
Japan’s Yamamo finished second and Hakkari third while the 7.5 km event was won by Waqas Ali, Shakir Usman and Younis Khan finished second and swam respectively.
According to the report, Nimra Iqbal won gold, Sahrish Khan won silver and Mah Noor Fatima won Brabz medal in 12 km race of women under 30 years of age, while Naheed Khan of Balochistan won the women’s race of over 50 years of age. , South Africa’s Rochelle was second and Balochistan’s Saira Khan was third.
