Karachi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested 4 suspects involved in the reference handi during various operations in Shahr Quaid.
According to Express News, under the direction of Deputy Director Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Commercial Banking Circle Karachi Rabia Qureshi, the team arrested 4 people while conducting operations in Clifton Tin Talwar and Sadar.
The spokesperson of FIA says that the accused were involved in buying and selling of foreign currency without license, the receipts related to American dollars, Pakistani rupees and Hindi references have been recovered from the possession of the accused.
According to the spokesman, among the arrested accused are accused Aziz Merchant, accused Muhammad Humayun, Salimuddin and Usman Arif.
The spokesman said in a statement that dozens of handi references and messages related to illegal currency exchange were also recovered from the mobile phones of the arrested accused, after which a case was registered against the accused and the investigation was started.
