Kathmandu: A Nepal Airlines plane coming from Malaysia to Nepal collided with an Air India plane coming from the Indian capital New Delhi to Kathmandu.

According to Nepali media, the Air India plane was descending from 19,000 feet to 7,000 feet while the Nepal Airlines plane was at a height of 15,000 feet at the same place and both planes came face to face.

The collision between the passenger planes in the airspace of Nepal was of a very minor type, due to which both the planes were recovered after suffering minor setbacks.

There was no loss of life or property in this accident. In the collision, the wings of the two planes collided, but luckily the wings of the plane were not broken and no passengers were injured.

Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal spokesperson Jagannath Nerula said that three employees of the Air Traffic Controller Department have been suspended for negligence and negligence and a three-member committee has been formed to investigate.
