Riyadh: American reciter Yasir Shaheen surprised the audience with the quality of his recitation in the “Attar Al Kalam” international competition held in Saudi Arabia during Ramadan.

According to the World News Agency, Hollywood film and television screenwriter Yasser Shaheen, an American citizen of Palestinian origin, mesmerized the atmosphere by reciting in a distinguished manner in the latest episode of the largest international competition “Attar Al Kalam” held in Saudi Arabia. .

The video of the recitation went viral on social media and those who heard this powerful recitation of the Qur’an woke up in the middle of the night. Every eye became wet with Qari Yasir Shaheen’s recitation.

Yasir Shaheen has also performed the service of teaching the verses of the Quran and the rules of speech to Muslim children in the mosques of the American city of Dallas.

Qari Yasir said that by becoming a reader, I have fulfilled my mother’s wish, for which I first kept the last message of Allah, the Qur’an, in my chest and at the same time kept learning different ways of reciting this great book.

Qari Yasir also pursued secular education and was involved in teaching at the University of San Jose in California and participated in several programs on television channels in Islamic countries.

Also supervised the production of more than 130 documentary programs and 14 documentaries.

It should be noted that more than 50 thousand reciters are participating in the international recitation competition “Attar Al Kalam”, out of which 50 lucky winners will be awarded prizes of 12 million Riyals.

3 million riyals for the first position in the recitation of the Holy Quran category, while 20 lakh riyals will be awarded to the first position in the Azan.
