An electricity consumer in Pakistan received a bill of 13 crore 69 lakh 70 thousand 935 rupees.
A consumer from Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) was surprised by the electricity department sending him an electricity bill of over Rs 13.5 crore.
Secretary Electronics GB has ordered an inquiry calling the bill a mistake by the data entry operator.
Secretary Electronics said that the bill is from last December, due to a mistake by the data entry operator, a bill of around 13.7 million was issued.
He further said that the data entry operator has been suspended and an inquiry has been ordered for making a mistake.
