Mumbai: The driver who stole the house of Indian singer Sonu Nigam’s father was arrested.
According to an Indian media report, the Mumbai police have arrested the former driver of Sonu Nigam’s father Agam Kumar Nigam for alleged theft of lakhs of rupees from the house.
Indian media says that the accused’s Rehan had stolen 72 lakh rupees from Sonu’s father’s house. The police has managed to recover 70 lakh rupees from the stolen money.
In the CCTV footage, the accused was seen entering the premises of the housing complex with a bag. Sonu Nigam’s younger sister Nikita lodged a theft complaint with the police on Wednesday morning.

According to Nikita, Rehaan was his father Agamkumar’s driver for 8 months but was recently removed due to his unsatisfactory performance. He entered the flat with the help of a duplicate key and stole Rs 72 lakh from the digital locker in the room.
