On the occasion of Pakistan Day, the late legendary actor Qavi Khan was awarded with Nishan-e-Imtiaz in the civil honors ceremony, while Yasir Hussain, an actor, host and director associated with the Pakistan showbiz industry, started remembering Munir Niazi.
On the photo and video sharing platform Instagram, the actor shared his Instagram story and expressed his views on awarding Nishan-e-Imtiaz to the late legendary actor Qavi Khan by the government of Pakistan.
He shared a few verses of Muneer Niazi’s famous poem ‘Deer Kir Dita Haun’ on his Instagram story in appreciation of the legendary actor Qavi Khan after his departure from this world.
He wrote that ‘I am always late, to say something important, to fulfill a promise, to give voice to him, to call him back, I am always late’.
He further wrote that ‘Let’s be late and correct, give all the medals to all the best artists above 50 in their lifetime, what to do with them’.
It should be remembered that on the occasion of Pakistan Day, various personalities were honored with official civil honors for their valuable services in various fields in the President’s House, Islamabad.
From the showbiz industry, actor Behrooz Sabz Wari, late director, screenplay writer and journalist Sheikh Riaz Shahid aka Riaz Shahid and host and singer Fakhar Alam were awarded Stara Imtiaz.
