New Delhi: The Indian Army, showing ill-will, fired a missile on its own soil.
According to the Indian media, the Indian Army, in yet another display of inexperience, launched a missile in the city of Pokhran in the state of Rajasthan.
Military officials say that the incident of missile firing by mistake happened during the field firing exercise. The missile was installed in the aircraft. Debris of the missile fell in the fields while no one was injured in the incident. Further investigations are underway.
This is not the first instance of incompetence of the Indian Army. Earlier, the Indian Army had hurled a mortar shell at a village during training, as a result of which 3 civilians were killed.
