Prices of 12 essential commodities fell in a week.
Chicken Rs 32 85 paise per kg, red chilli packet Rs 5 cheaper, garlic Rs 4 59 paise, dal chana Rs 2 70 paise cheaper per kg.
Moong dal, lentils, eggs and onions also became cheaper.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, there was no change in the prices of 13 essential commodities in a week.
