Leading audio streaming service Spotify has removed hundreds of Indian songs from the music platform.
Bollywood music lovers were very disappointed with this decision taken by Spotify.
“We have been unable to reach a licensing agreement with Zee Music Company but will continue to negotiate in good faith in the hope of finding a mutually agreeable solution soon,” the company said.
According to reports, the audio streaming service has removed a long list of Indian songs from its music platform after a licensing dispute with Zee Music Company was not resolved.
It should be noted that the famous record label Zee Music owns the songs of many blockbuster Bollywood films including the film ‘Three Idiots’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Klink’, ‘Raazi’, ‘Secret Superstar’, ‘Jersey’, ‘Kedernath’, ‘Raees’, and many other films are included.
