The date of removal of blue tick from accounts on social media site Twitter has been revealed.
According to foreign media, Twitter will start removing blue ticks from its users’ verified accounts from April 1.
In this regard, Twitter asked individual users and organizations to sign up for its flagship subscription program to keep their blue check marks.
According to Indian media, the program was launched in India in February, where it costs Rs 900 per month on iOS and Android devices and Rs 650 on the web.
According to Indian media, users can also buy a one-year plan on which a 12 percent discount is given.
According to reports, the monthly Twitter Blue subscription fee in the US is $11 on Android and iOS devices and $8 on the web.
It should be noted that this fee payment program was introduced last year after billionaire businessman Elon Musk took over Twitter.
Earlier, verified accounts of celebrities, politicians, journalists and public figures were given Blue Tick but now anyone can buy it by paying a subscription fee.
