On the auspicious occasion of Pakistan’s National Day, a grand flag-hoisting ceremony was also held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Prague (Czech Republic).
On this occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan Muhammad Khalid Jamali hoisted the flag of Pakistan to the tune of the national anthem.
In the ceremony, the messages of the President Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif were read out.
In these messages, the two leaders called this day a covenant-making day and shed light on the past conditions of Pakistan.
He mentioned the great achievements of the nation during this time and expressed his determination that the challenges faced by the unity of the nation will be overcome.
As this national day was also the first day of Ramadan, special prayers were offered by the participants for the development and prosperity of the country.
