The spokesperson of Sindh Chief Minister has said that the ordinance for price control will come into effect from today, the ordinance was approved by the Sindh Cabinet.
The spokesman said that the governor of Sindh has also called for the summary of the ordinance immediately, the number of magistrates is being increased under the ordinance, and the number of food inspectors is also being increased to control inflation.
He said that the food inspectors will strictly implement the government decisions, against hoarding and illegal profits, the food inspectors have been assigned the powers of magistrates.
Shop sales and goods of profiteers will be confiscated, those who sell goods at more than the official rate will not be spared.
