Coterie: The explosion on the railway line near Bolhari station damaged sleepers.
According to Express News, an attempt was made by unknown saboteurs to blow up the railway line with explosives, as a result of which the sleepers of the railway line from Karachi to Punjab were damaged.
The sound of the explosion was heard far and wide. On receiving the information, railway officials including police and rangers reached the spot. According to bomb disposal squad officials, the blast was from a cracker which damaged the sleepers.
The railway authorities say that the railway track was safe from the blast and the traffic of trains has been restored.
