Peshawar: Anti-Terrorism Department of Malakand Region has arrested 2 most wanted terrorists, both of them belong to the banned organization Tehreek Taliban Pakistan.
According to the details, the Anti-Terrorism Department of Malakand Region received information from reliable sources that the terrorists are present in a residential house of Dubindu police station in the area for the purpose of a major sabotage operation.
After a tip-off, the CTD team arrested two terrorists who were identified as Muhammad Ilyas alias Hamza Khorasani son of Zaman Khan Sukna Dobindo Deer Bala and Ibrahim son of Muhammad Khan Sukna Dobindo Deer Bala. Both the terrorists are said to be related to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
A Kalashnikov with two magazines, 7.62 bore 60 rounds, a bandolier and a hand grenade were recovered from the possession of the arrested terrorists.
On the identification of the arrested terrorists, 59 rounds of 7.62 bore, more than 6 kg of explosives, safety fuse, Prima Card, one remote, one electronic device used in IED, 13 detonators were recovered from the tin box in the house. And other goods were also exported. The exported hand grenade was defused by the bomb disposal unit.
A case has been registered against the arrested terrorists under the provisions of 4/5ESA-15AA-7ATA in Police Station CTD Malakand Region. The arrested terrorists are being interrogated and important revelations are expected.
